United Food Bank Turkey Drive

At this time of year, we become aware that many are experiencing difficulties and are not getting enough to eat. The United Food Bank provides turkeys for the hungry here in Arizona. Even with all the help they received last year, they were still thousands of turkeys short and many had no turkey for Thanksgiving dinner.

Join with us in helping to feed the hungry in our area this holiday season by donating a frozen turkey, money, or non-perishable items such as canned vegetables, boxed stuffing, packaged mashed potatoes or other "Holiday Fixins."
The United Food Bank is Open for donations:

November 12 Saturday 8 am – 2 pm
November 14-18 Mon.-Fri. 8 am – 5 pm
November 19 Saturday 8 am – 2 pm
November 21-23 Mon.-Wed. 8 am – 8 pm

Candy Candle Table Centerpiece

What you need:
  • Purchased ribbon candy
  • Shallow glass dish
  • Pillar candle in color to coordinate with candy colors
Directions:
Set the Candle in the middle of the dish. We chose a glass dish with a decorative looped glass trim that repeats the loops of the candy. Arrange the candy around the candle. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
